I made this baby quilt for my little sister Holly. She's getting ready to have her first baby this August and she just had a birthday – what better reason to make a quilt! I used some of Anna Maria Horner's fabric from her new line Loulouthi for the patchwork "LOVE" side. It seemed so perfectly suited for that. I also love that I could used some of Anna's "hugs & kisses" print for the binding.

I feel like there hasn't been much art here lately. I've actually kind of been overcome by my freelance work and other larger projects but I feel like I should go back to what I was doing before. The holidays always seem make me start thinking about all kinds of projects I could make as gifts and it very quickly turns from the joy of giving to something else that's not much like joy
