I made this baby quilt for my little sister Holly. She's getting ready to have her first baby this August and she just had a birthday – what better reason to make a quilt!
I used some of Anna Maria Horner's fabric from her new line Loulouthi for the patchwork "LOVE" side. It seemed so perfectly suited for that. I also love that I could used some of Anna's "hugs & kisses" print for the binding. It's like being wrapped in hugs and kisses – as all babies should.
The other side incorporates a beautiful hand printed piece of fabric from Ink & Spindle that reminded me of France, not that I've been there but my sister has, and I know it's a special place for her.

Wah! I so wish I had seen this in person when we were at your place - it's really really beautiful and the "love" letters are superb. What a lucky sister you have! Hopefully I'll see it before you get in the mail, hint hint.
Hey Devon, I wish you could see it but I mailed it to her a while ago. It was her birthday at the end of July and I wanted her to have it for then. I wish would have taken more photos but...oh well.
I didn't know your sister was expecting, so exciting! congratulations to you and her, and of course it is a lovely lovely piece of warmth you have created.
